And maybe try running Blender from the console with "PATH\\TO\\blender.exe" --debug --debug-gpu and post the output here.

When it crashes nothing is displayed in the console. It just turns off.

You forgot to pack the texture into the .blend file. Not sure if that makes a difference. This file works fine here.
