Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
I've been using blender for two years and I haven't got any problem till now, every time I try to open blender the command screen pops up and shows an error but it closes instantly not giving me time to read it, I've tried uninstalling and installing again several times, I've even tried using different blender versions and nothing seems to work, also in my blender files I don't have a startup.blend file.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Event Timeline

Could you please specify your operating system and graphics card? Are you using a beta version of Blender? Have you made any changes to your system recently? More information would be very helpful.

I was using blender 2.79 64 bit for windows 10, I wasn't using a beta version for blender and I have a AMD Radeon (RM) R9 M470, and I haven't done any changes to my system but the normal windows updates, thank you.

Try running Windows update to look for graphics driver updates. I searched AMD's website for driver updates for your card, but it wasn't there...

Also, try running Blender from the command line to see what the error says (and it won't go away). If you have Blender installed in the default location, just run this command (keep the quotes in it) and report back: "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe"

So I've checked the windows updates fro driver updates but didn't find anything, I ran blender from the console and it shows this error:

C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender>blender.exe
AL lib: (EE) UpdateDeviceParams: Failed to set 44100hz, got 48000hz instead

There were some people that reported that a windows update broke blender. However, Microsoft pushed out an other update that fixed this.

It this still an issue for you with the latest windows updates?
