Short description of error
When switching to rendered view (Cycles GPU rendering only) the render is canceled during the first sample and the render result is distorted.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Just open the attached blend file and switch to rendered view in the 3d viewport (with Cycles GPU rendering).

Event Timeline

I just wanted to report that I reopened the scene today and it renders fine now. Same blender build, same GPU driver. Not sure what fixed it. Perhaps a reboot or restart of Blender.
