Grease Pencil : I got artifacts on some strokes

Short description of error

I got some artifacts on my grease pencil strokes, in the viewport and in the renders (eevee or workbench): https://i.stack.imgur.com/TRtij.jpg
Seems that it happens only on certain layers an not on the others.
Note that they already have a different Z position.

It seems that moving one of the GP layers slightly makes it work, but anyway, that's weird (see video here : https://imgur.com/a/tfsjzSJ)

Event Timeline

It seems that this has something to do with the GP layers origins.

Please upload the image, the short video and the .blend directly here and don't link to an external website. That makes it easier for us. Also sometimes the compression is really bad..

Confirmed. Seems related to the object position. Note how the rendering changes when the objects origin passes each other. Same as in upload by @Gordie (gordie.lachance)

The order of the objects depends of the z-depth from point of view, if both objects are at the same z-depth maybe there are some zfight.

Could you try to move the origin of the strokes to have some difference (you can do it moving the strokes in edit mode).

We know there are problems with z-depth and we are working on it.

Testing your file, the problem is related to the parent and rotation of the paper...while we found the bug, unparent the paper, and set in the right rotation and parent again.

Well, now you can enable 3D order to get real 3D z-depth sorting, so I think it's fixed.
