  3. Caught any ui element for example try to change windows size.
  4. Release mouse button.
  5. You should see that mouse cursor stuck in those ui elements

Similar problem

  1. select any object, default cube is fine
  2. press "alt" on keyboard and release
  3. hit "x" for deleting cube
  4. You will see confirmation dialog
  5. With mouse hit "Delete".
  6. You will need to hit it twice cause there is some ui bug.

William Reynish (billreynish) triaged this task as Confirmed, Medium priority.

The first issue I could not reproduce, and could not understand either.

The second one I can reproduce, but only if I enable Emulate 3 Button mouse.

Yes, it has something to do with emulate 3 mouse button.

As for the first issue. Im not that great at english so forgive me. :D

  1. Open "n" panel
  2. Place cursor in 3d viewport (it does not matter if you use mouse or tablet)
  3. Press "alt" key on keyboard and release
  4. Grab left edge of "n" panel and move mouse to resize it
  5. Release mouse button.
  6. You will see that mouse cursor stick in those ui elements

and ofc emulate 3 mouse button has to checked.

Right - could I get you to rename the bug report to something descriptive, such as "Tapping Alt while Emulate 3 Button Mouse is enabled causes missed left click input" or something like that?

Paul (rice) renamed this task from UI glitch to Tapping Alt while Emulate 3 Button Mouse is enabled bugs left click input.Jan 19 2019, 5:08 PM
