Open, Confirmed, LowPublic

System Information
Operating system: Mac OS 10.14.2

2.80, eb61e6840efc, blender2.8, 2019-01-15

When I click on file, then open and click on Desktop, it does not show all the files or folders on my desktop. I have a folder that is named Video Stuff that I keep all my blender and other video stuff is in that folder, but it does not show this folder

It does not mater what order I click on things, I can never see all folders or files on my desktop
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

What kind of folder is it? Some kind of folder alias, or mounted drive, or .. ? I'm guessing it's not a regular folder.

Yes it is an alias folder that is to an external hard drive. All my other programs see it just fine. Anyway hope you can fix that.

All the best and thank you for this wonderful program,

Hi, Just wondering if you guys have plans to fix this problem with the alias folders not showing up in blender file bowser. It does not work on 2.8 and I tried it today on the new 2.81 and it still does not work. It would be really great if you could fix it.
