Can you reproduce the issue in a new file?

Or can you remove everything from the file that is not necessary to reproduce the issue? (maybe you could share this file then?)

Not sure what opens all these files at the same time, but sounds like this could be fixed by not accessing all files at the same time...

This is an Empty File With all The Setting i Used

Blender Crashed at frame 304

thank you

Thanks. Unfortunately, I'm still not able to reproduce the issue. Is it happening on GPU/CPU only?

i am rendering with eevee so i don't know ,
i gess it is related to the alembic files
its atotal of 5 gig of alembic cash ,
can you tell me something about the error message
the one in the image

The error message sounds like file handles are leaking, or at least an unexpectedly high number being open. The maximum number of open files on Windows is lower than other platforms by default, so this would be noticed quicker on Windows.

Still, we need a way to reproduce the issue or get more details about where exactly the problem is.

Do you have one .abc file per frame, or an .abc file with the entire frame range?

You could use process explorer to see which files are open while Blender is rendering. If the number of files keeps increasing for every rendered frame that would indicate a leak. We'd need to know then which files those are.

in my file an .abc file with the entire frame range

by leak did you mean this:

i am attaching the abc file that make the file duplication

sometimes this happens

The same file being open so many times is definitely a bug.

from some reason it writes the camera abc name on the file
is it related to the specific alembic imported file or
is it something more general?
