Short description of error
Sensitivity of many of the modeling tools is dependent on their scale. That is not helpful... for anything... ever... There's not a single case where such behavior would be desired.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1, Create a new blender scene.
2, Select default cube, go to edit mode and perform inset
3, Notice the sensitivity is fine
4, Exit edit mode, and scale the cube up 10x (10 scale)
5, Enter edit mode again and perform another inset
6, Notice the inset sensitivity is totally out of control
7, Exit the edit mode, and apply the scale to the cube
8, Enter the edit mode again, perform another inset, and notice the sensitivity is fine again
Result: Sensitivity is of modeling tools is dependent on the scale of the mesh
Expected: Sensitivity of modeling tools is NOT dependent on the scale of the mesh
This behavior requires users to compulsively apply transforms every single time they perform any scaling manipulation of the mesh they work with so that the modeling tools remain usable. This in turn makes the entire workflow quite uncomfortable.
