Short description of error
Follow up to, which I think can be closed now.

Duplicate-moving parented objects, doesn't seem to move them in world space. See video demo

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • parent one object to another
  • duplicate-move it, by pressing shift+d
  • as long as the parent hasn't been rotated or scaled, all is good
  • rotate and/or scale the parent
  • then try to duplicate-move the child again and notice how the child is not moved in accordance with the mouse pointer
