edges display bug on big geometries when looked up close #62260

Short description of error
A loop cut on a big plane, when looked up close, doesn't show the actual edge and instead creates a weird gradient effect. Also, its position doesn't stay consistent when toggling between either edit and object mode, or between vertex-face-edge selection when in edit mode.
The gradient disappears whe orbitng around.
When there are more than one edge close to one another, their "gradients" sometimes seem to flip axis{F6773296}

For reference I added a cube, so standard edge behavior can be viewed alongside the wrong one.

The problem persists when scale transform is applied.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Create a big plane (2564m in the example)
Set clipping to fit the scene size{F6773150}
Create a loop cut
Look closely to the cut.
