Worked: blender2.8 2018-12-05 02:05 1fa527bfa3

Short description of error
After extracting .zip file, right clicked and opened the blender.exe file then it tried to launch but failed.

If you have a 64 bit operating system, make sure you are running 64 bit blender.

Try running blender from the command line to see any interesting messages

"It failed" isn't nearly enough to go on, you'll have to do a better job, atleast a screenshot of the error message

Sounds like you did not unpack the zip file completely.
