Short description of error

Change the subdivision algorithm in multires sculpts artifacts in my mesh.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open Blender.
  2. Change to Sculpt Mode.
  3. Use Multires modifier.
  4. Subdivide
  5. Sculpt a little bit
  6. Change the subdivision type to Simple and back to Catmull-Clark
  7. Now you have artifacts sculpted in the mesh

If this is an inherit limitation of the method, it might be best to make it harder to change the subdivision type after subdividing.
