Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Intel Core i3-3210 cpu@3.20GHz 3.2GHz
Ram: 4GB
System Type: 64-bit
Broken: v2.80, 2019-03-15,
Worked: v2.79b
Double clicking blender.exe to install initiates cmd window and a blink of gray window with nothing on it then it just quits.
After checking what others were doing, tried to run it from terminal(cmd) with --debug-gpu and the cmd window showed a bunch of text and number that I don't understand.
Trying Blender for the first time and have no knowledge of codes and debugging.

Which OS are you using?
Does your system support OpenGL 3.3?
{F6832649}
{F6832644}Windows 7
Checked with OpenGL Viewer : OpenGL 4

That is what we need to solve the problem.
For example:
// ACCESS VIOLATION
Module ig7icd64.dll
//
That is your video driver spitting up. Updating to the latest driver is generally a good thing.
updated graphics driver.-------didn't work.
replaced ig7icd64.dll file in C:\Windows\System32 ----- file downloaded from https://www.dll4free.com/ig7icd64.dll.html
Result -- still didn't work.

have you tried updating official drivers for Intel HD Graphics 2500?

Closing due to lack of information to further investigate the issue, we can reopen the report if more information is provided.
Note that installing dll files from websites like dll4free.com is generally a bad idea and can often do more harm than good. Graphics drivers should be installed from the Intel website.

Do not use dlls from websites like that! Always get drivers from the Intel website.
