Blender 2.8. Autosnapping to vertexes doesn't work with sliding vertex by edge. #62746

Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.17134 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 560/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 391.35

If it's not a bug... will be cool to see it work as fuature. At present when you sliding vertex by edge you can't align it to another vertex wich is sad. Because it really usefull fuature

Open default file. Turn cube into edit mode and extrude some additional faces. Then randomize a bit vertexes position. Then turn on Snap mode (SHIFT+TAB) and at the Snapping preferences choose: Vertex / Target:Closest / Project into Self / Move. Then choose any vertex and press Shift+V (or GG) - and try to move it and at once snap it to any other vertex that will positioned at range of the size of modified edge. It will work only on slide and don't snapping.

Sadly this is not a bug. So it is a feature request.
