Animation Playback does not sync between two defferent view layers

Short description of error

  1. Animation playback problem - Animation Playback doesn't sync in two main window with defferent view layers, but sub window with the same view layer is ok.
  2. EditMode problem - If you select an armature and enter editmode, and the armature disappears form other view layers. But, in pose mode, everything is ok. Any changes in pose mode correctly update other view layer's rendering.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Open the attached *.blend file, and you will see 3 windows - main window, sub window with the same view layer, another main window with other view layer.

Enter edit mode with armature, and it disappear from 3rd window.

But enter pose mode and make any changes, that correctly updates other windows.

Just playback animation.

Event Timeline

Sebastian Parborg (zeddb) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to 50.

I'm guessing this is depsgraph related as the pose updates to the current one if I skip to the frame in question and hit play.

I have re-triaged this report and can not reproduce it.
Can you please check if this is still an issue in latest build?

Thanks for the report. However to properly track issues we need them to be reported separately. As there has been a request for more information but no response for more than a week, as per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.
