Short description of error
To give context I am keyframing the "offset" of an image sequence node within a material. It is set to show 1 Frames with Start Frame set to 1.
I will animate the offset with a range from -1 to 4, shuffling between these frame to animate a texture in the timeline. Doing a viewport render of the scene will result in correct frames being presented at the right times, but, if doing a proper animation Render it will skip crucial keyframes or appear to have a different offset entirely and hold the image sequence on the wrong frame(s). The keyframes were auto-created with default handles and interpolation.

It would be nice to have a .blend for this.
Is this Blender 2.80 or 2.79?

Blend file: http://pasteall.org/blend/index.php?id=51609 I've gotten the same results on 2 computers, I imported the scene to a fresh project and still have this issue.

This is on 2.80. All the version information was added automatically by blender via the "Report a bug" button.

Thanks. My confusion. Apparently, buildinfo is misbehaving a bit.

The image sequence is not packed. Could you provide it?

Sorry, I ticked the "automatically pack into .blend" button and figured it'd pack the data. I guess the "pack all into .blend" is what I'm looking for? I'll get it soon

You can attach files here. No need to upload it to dropbox.

Anyways, I can confirm that it does indeed seem like the final render is skipping frames or sometimes even displaying the wrong frames:

Cycles test render (incorrect result):

Viewport render (correct result):

@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) is this a known issue?
