Short description of error
ALT+ LMB doesnt work for switching on/of modifiers with multi users

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
when i press alt + LMB to temporary turn off/on the modifiers from the view with multi users it doesnt work. here is the screenshot and blendfile

  • does this fail with Factory Settings as well?
  • which keymap are you using?

Just guessing, but it could be because you are using Emulate 3 Button Mouse, which makes Alt-click not work (it emulates middle mouse instead).

Really this issue should be solved by properly supporting Multi-Object Properties Editing by default T54987 without requiring holding the Alt-key.

Yes you are right. I turned off the Emulate 3D mouse and it helped but it should be like that? what if I want it to be on and disable modifiers for several users?

it works fine on factory settings. as William Reynish said it was because emulate 3D mouse function. is it on default or is it bug? cuz maybe I need to have both functions on?
