Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

5d8030b8f3When selecting the color for a property with color in the overlays, it includes a sampler color, like other color props.
However clicking the dropper button just cancels the color window

@JulianEisel: I know this has been considered invalid before (#43940, #32396)
But since the old wikiTODO is not really reachable anymore, there is no place where this is tracked as TODO...
Maybe we should add it to #63726 (User Interface Module ) papercuts?
We in fact still have these todo lists, e.g. #55364 (Blender development todo list -- User Interface).
And yes, this is indeed an old limitation. A quite ridiculous one though.

I file this as a bug as it displays the color picker button, telling the user that it should work.
It's indeed annoying that we show the button. Would be nice to hide it at least, but I think the same issue that prevents this from working makes it difficult to hide the button. Opened #73565 to keep track of the known pop-up issues.
