Works for me with the exact same commit hash.

Does it work if you load factory defaults?

Forget to say i did load factory defaults, because i thought old config was the problem.

If you are using the default settings and just using the default cube scene, then I don't know what the issue is really.

Are you building it yourself?

I did use blender-2.8-git from the AUR repo.
But it happens the same with the latest build from blender.org.

So maybe the distro is the problem...

I just tested last source code and works fine in Windows 10 64 bits.

Does it work with the 2.79 git build from https://builder.blender.org/download/ ?

Does it help if you remove or temporarily rename ~/.config/blender/2.80 ?

I did try that too, but i finally found the problem. There were files in .local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/, maybe from the fake bpy module installed via pip...

After removing them it works fine.
