Blender crashes when entering mesh edit mode (say, the default cube mesh) and de-selecting the primitive (vertext)
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Mesh verts are de-selected.
Actual result
Blender crashes.
Notes
Reproducible also by selecting one mesh vert from all and trying to select another one.
Not reproducible on other objects (say, Bezier curve)

Cant get it to crash here [fedora 30, 970m, 418.56 drivers]
