It is easier to debug this sort of thing if we have a .blend. Got one?

Hi there, found the same issue with one of the latest builds (05-14 and 05-10), there's no need for a blend file, just switch to look dev or render preview mode to see.

It only happens at my notebook from work though, an i3 6006u (HD graphics 520) which I use to teach at a class. Some one or two weeks old builds worked just fine.
Also tested the same builds on a pc with a 970 gtx / i7 8700k and a RX 280x / FX-6200, no issues there.

Probably related to gpu / opengl?

If I could reproduce the problem from the description, I would not have asked for a .blend.
Using 05-14 Linux, things seem fine.
