In Blender 2.8 My character mesh is collapsing on certain frames

during a{F7045527}nimation, mostly at the joints.

Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) lowered the priority of this task from Needs Triage by Developer to Needs Information from User.May 21 2019, 7:24 PM

I don't see any movement when playing animation in this file, is it supposed to be there?

To be able to investigate this we need a more specific report with steps to redo the problem. The mesh deformation in this file also looks to have some issues, but it's not clear that this indicates a bug in Blender.

Thank you for responding, I reloaded blender 2.8 and now it works great.
Thank you
Rick

Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) claimed this task.

I loaded the rhubarb lipsync addon for blender 2.8 by scaredyfish. I was able enable in the preference with no problem. The I'm having after you load the shapekeys in and try to run it to created the key frames, I get a windows32 error. I'm thinking it has to do with the path I'm using for an exe. file in the preference. I tried to find a exe. file in the unzipped packet, but there doesn't seem to be one. I tried the path to the unzipped file for rhubarb and also all the py. files. If anyone can give me directions on which path to use that would be great.

Thank you very much
Rick

We do not maintain that add-on, any issue with it should be reported to the author of the add-on.

@Rick Morris (rickcreations) The exe is a separate download. Instructions are available here: https://github.com/scaredyfish/blender-rhubarb-lipsync

Please open an issue there if you continue to have problems.

Hi Andrew,
I found the exe file on my computer, I'll send some snapshots of the preferences and the error after running Rhubarb lipsync.
I will also try loading Rhubarb on the computer that I teach blender on at work.
Thank you{F7062530}

Hi Andrew,
I think I look at everything, The error is still happening when I try to run it. It must be something in my computer. If there anything that I can send you just let me know.
Thank you for all your time.
Rick
