What "Material" tag? Can you show with a picture?

This may be a duplicate of #63993 (Material tab crash with Intel HD 4x00 on Windows 7/8), if your laptop has both an NVIDIA and Intel GPU. Changing the NVIDIA preferences to always use Blender with the NVIDIA card may then avoid the issue.
That's right, my computer has Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU, but it doesn't show my GPU on this version.
P/s: in
0f5b53ba4d
version (old build), "material" tag is worked.I tried
0f5b53ba4d
and it still crashes here (when using old drivers instead of recent drivers, see #63993#684933). Not immediately when going to the tab, but when tweaking material parameters. It seems to be the same issue, just a different way to trigger it.At your request, I installed a new driver for the CPU, I visited Intel's website to install it
I choose the latest version to install
After downloading and installing normally, it displays the following error
I have not updated the driver since I have been buying this computer for 5 years, I think it must have been too old and quite difficult to operate.
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4030U CPU @ 1.90GHz (4 CPUs), ~1.9GHz
[Update]
At
0f5b53ba4d
, I tried creating a simple project with eevee mode and rendering them. Material tag works well, stable. I created 2 different color cube and 2 point lamp also have different colors, after the design I render them and all work stably.I tried saving this project in a .blend file and using the new version
e787700393
to open them. The project is open and the objects and colors work well, the Material tag works when I click. However, when I change the color for any object, the program crashes without any message being displayed. Both versions do not display the GPU.
blender_debug_output.txt
blender_system_info.txt
These are the two files that appear after debugging
You can probably configure Blender to always open with the NVIDIA card, in the NVIDIA settings. I expect it runs stable when it decides to use the NVIDIA card, and unstable when it uses the Intel card, which can be quite unpredictable.
Great, I tried downloading GPU updates to install and they worked, now I can click on the material without crashing. I haven't updated them since I bought the computer. Thank you very much, you worked hard for me.
Wait, when the official version of 2.8 appears ???
