Inconsistent behavior when scaling

When you perform scale and choose Y or Z axis with middle click, after releasing button object snaps back. Scaling continues after mouse is moved.

  1. select standard cube
  2. press S to scale
  3. with MMB pressed choose Y or Z axis
  4. release MMB



Event Timeline

There is a bug T60825, but not exactly how you said.
MMB is locking the axis of the transform(scale). There is no need to press axis key. MMB does not end the scaling.

With that said, was good to point it out, as I missed there was a problem with scaling too.
