This seems like an incomplete download, as if some files are missing. Can you try downloading and unpacking Blender again?

Since you mention make update, it seems like you are making your own build. Most likely there is something wrong in the setup then, but it's not possible for us to guess what.

For questions about building Blender, this would be the right place to task, with explanation of how exactly you setup up the build and build logs:

Re-opening this since the problem persists. Closed blender/blender-addons#67722.

I find it odd that it worked after you re-downloaded at one point, but broke again after restart. Maybe a faulty hard drive? Is there other software that you use on this computer that works as expected?

My system is fine, tried reinstall my distro, but still no luck. It was working like 1/2 of the time. But now it's not working at all. All other software is working just fine...

Please, update this report following strictly this form https://developer.blender.org/maniphest/task/edit/form/1/

The operating system, main memory size, GPU brand and model, GPU driver version and Blender hash or its build date may be needed by developers to investigate this issue

You can check here https://www.blender.org/download/requirements/ if your hardware and software meet minimum Blender requirement

do you build your Blender from the source or do you use a precompiled Blender? you can try to download a pre-compiled version from here https://www.blender.org/download/ for the Release Candidate 3, at the bottom of this page you can find a dailybuild, it's a little more correct than RC3

I would say wipe your user preferences, but if you reinstalled your entire system then that's not gonna help either. Hopefully a dev will have any idea, but since Brecht's guess didn't help, I don't know what will. :/ I will pray for your Blender.

32bit has save result. ill try nouveau

i dont know it would be helpful, but it seems like someone else on the net also have same message:

blender: symbol lookup error: blender: undefined symbol: _ZN7Alembic3Abc3v117OObject14getChildHeaderERKNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEE

@fikrillah you already use nouveau, you MUST disable it and install properly proprietary Nvidia drivers
in your system info we can see Kernel modules: nouveau, nvidia_drm, nvidia, this is relate to nouveau not Nvidia drivers

the wiki says, when nvidia is installed. it automatically blacklist nouveau. and also one line above it

Just to be clear, you get the same error message when building blender yourself or using the precompiled build bot version?

@fikrillah in terminal write: sudo lsmod | grep nvidia if you see nvidia as output you use proprietary Nvidia drivers, else you not have properly installed these and use nouveau drivers instead. To confirm this you can write in terminal sudo lsmod | grep nouveau and you see this drivers loaded in kernel. to work only one nvidia GPU drivers can be loaded in kernel

Crash seems to happen in GHost while trying to refresh list of input devices. Do you have any "non-standard" devices? Like a 3D mouse, a tablet, etc? Can you try to unplug everything but a regular keyboard and mouse, and see whether Blender starts for you then?

This definitively looks like a specific system setup issue...
