When you Duplicate "Area into New window", and work in the graphic tablet, pressure sensitivity for strength / size / autosmooth, don't work.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Could you try the following:

  • start blender from the console with the --debug-events commandline option
  • look for similar entries like these
wm_event_do_handlers: Handling event
wmEvent type:1 / LEFTMOUSE, val:1 / PRESS,
shift:0, ctrl:0, alt:0, oskey:0, keymodifier:0,
mouse:(391,549), ascii:'', utf8:'', keymap_idname:(null), pointer:0x7fc98911c608
tablet: active: 1, pressure 0.2281, tilt: (0.2857 0.1111)

You should see the pressure value in there, is this 0.0 if you do a stroke in the other window?

Okay, I did this and In the new window I don't get the tablet line at all.
