When painting on a 32 bit texture either in image editor or 3d view, Blender will crash when painting on a pixel that is close to the edge of the texture.

  1. create a plane
  2. start texture paint and create a texture that is 32 bits
  3. paint in 3d view in an area close to the "edge" of the texture
  4. Blender crashes
