Short description of error
When a emission shader is used as a Volume Shader and if its density is driven by a Point density node it will only render correctly on CPU.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Set Start-Cubes' volume to point density.
  • Add another object to drive the point density.
  • Use the density to drive the emission strenght.
  • Render on CPU and GPU.
