If Object already has material and you select the material tab, Blender will crash.
but, If the object doesn't have any material and you select the materials tab. and then you will press the button to add new material, Blender will crash.

Event Timeline

works for me on latest master.

Operating system: Linux-4.15.0-48-generic-x86_64-with-debian-stretch-sid 64 Bits

Is this happening on the default scene, or a particular file? Is it random or every time? Did you include all steps necessary for you to reproduce it?

no issue isn't solved. I redownload the latest version.
If you want to see the issue just open the material tab and add material, Blender will crash.

It happens every time when I add a material or open material tab with already added material... It crashes it check is again and again.

Please try installing the latest graphics drivers from the NVIDIA website,

I am already on the latest graphics drivers...
everything was working well on the one-month-old release of blender 2.8

I am also using HoudiniFx which is working fine. so my graphics card is fine as well as its drivers

As far as I can tell 353.62 is not the latest driver. Just because other software works, does not mean there is no bug in the driver that causes problems for Blender.

well to update my drivers further, I need to buy the new graphics card and I don't have enough money to buy a new one. so I can't update graphics driver further.

The latest Quadro 2000 drivers I can find on the NVIDIA website are 377.83:

thanks a lot after your given driver my problem has been solved.
:) :)
