FBX exporter doesn't export multiple animations for multiple objects
Closed, InvalidPublic

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: NVIDIA Quadro M1200

Blender Version
2.80 beta Windows 64-bit 6529d2079a5 June 12, 2019
Worked: never?

Short description of error
When I try to export multiple objects, each with their own keyframes, to FBX, only one of the object's keyframes are exported.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

(Create two or more cubes, give each of them some Scaling keyframes on different frame numbers, as in the attached file)
Click File > Export > FBX (.fbx)
Don't change any of the options (leave Selected Objects and Active Collection unchecked. In Animation, leave all boxes checked)
Choose a file name and click Export FBX

Open a new Blender file/instance
Click File > Import > FBX (.fbx)
Don't change any of the default options
Click Import FBX
Play the animation and notice that all the objects have the same keyframes. In the original .blend file, each shape had their own keyframes.

(I apologize in advance if this is merely my inexperience with the FBX file format and its features)

We do not handle user support on this tracker, only bug reports. User forums like or and our devtalk should be used for that matter.

No bug here, to achieve what you want you need to disable All Actions and NLA Strips options, then you'll get current scene's animation exported properly. Those two options are used to export several animations (usually for a single object), e.g. to export a character and all its animations to a game engine.

I apologize. I first posted this question to ( where I was informed that this could be a bug. When I submitted this bug report, I honestly believed it was.

Thank you for the tip. That did the trick.
