Cannot reproduce with an Intuos 4 on linux

  • Does this only happen after the blender window regains focus?
  • So working in a (fullscreen) blender window alone doesnt have issues?
  1. Yes, if Blender's window is not in focus, I can hover a pointer without any problem. If the window is active then any movement over it causes a crash.
  2. Working in Blender doesn't have issues if I work with mouse.

Oh.
Just found that my information in opening post can be misleading:
Blender crashes not when changing these options, but every time it regains focus after opening:

  1. Preferences window (you don't even have to change settings)
  2. Render window
  3. New window from menu (Window > New Window/New Blender Window).

So it has something with new windows opened from Blender, not Input settings

Bastien Montagne (mont29) raised the priority of this task from Needs Information from User to Waiting for Developer to Reproduce.

That’s likely a drawing/gpu/driver issue somehow… Afraid it will be nearly impossible to investigate without being able to reproduce the issue though. :/
