System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.17763 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1070/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 419.67

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.80 (sub 74), branch: master, commit date: 2019-06-19 18:29, hash: d30f72dfd8
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
In the Layout view, the timeline normally shows only the keyframes for the selected item. When I add do some motion tracking in the movie clip editor and create the scene. Switching back to layout view, the timeline now shows a keyframe on every frame even if I have no objects to select. I can't find a way to hide the keyframes from the timeline either. If I expand the timeline and twirl down the summary, I see lots of trackers with keyframes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Please describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

With the given information i can not reproduce the issue.

Please follow bug report guidelines and provide a simple .blend file which demonstrates the issue.

I can't reproduce that. Please send a file that shows those keyframes. You don't need to send the footage, blendfile is enough.

Hi Sebastian,
I have added the file called WAS1_109_011_030_v03.blend . Please note that this is from confidential client work but I figure it is pretty safe since there are no plates here.

This file is from a VFX shot for a new Netflix show coming out this summer. I have found Blender to be amazing at camera tracking but I am also diving in deeper than I have time to learn. I have been using your tutorials and even live demonstrations on youtube to help me get some camera tracking.

If you have some time for some camera tracking questions, I would love that! I am trying to push Blender at a VFX studio here in Calgary which does a lot of Netflix shows and movies.

Think something went wrong with your upload. There is no such file. Try again maybe?

Did the upload work this time?

[WAS1_109_011_030_v03.blend](https://archive.blender.org/developer/F7575074/WAS1_109_011_030_v03.blend) Did the upload work this time?

Yes, upload did work.
I think I know what happened, though.
You probably clicked on "Constraint to F-Curve" in the Camera's Camera-Solver Constraint. That will convert the track into single keyframes. You don't need to do that, though. Just add the Camera-Solver to the camera, and it will move according to the camera solution. Did that help?

I needed the keyframes so I could export the camera to After Effects.
I assume that keyframes should only show up when you have the camera selected. The problem I was running into was they were showing on the timeline even if I was selecing an object with 3 keyframes. It made it quite difficult to see which keyframes were relevant to the object I had selected unless I opened up the dopesheet.

Ah, I understand.
So it looks like as if you would have tracked this shot with some kind of script, which was adding keyframes for the marker weight on each frame. These are the keyframes that appear in the timeline, and there doesn't seem to be a way to filter those.
Any idea what to do about that, @Sergey?

I did the tracking only in blender. When I felt I had a shot that was usable, I clicked constrain to fcurves. Then I would export to AE.

I don’t think I used any script unless some of the features in blender or plugins in blender create those scripts. Maybe the refine motion tracking add on? I did enable that one and use it.

Yes, that would have been it.
So, to sum it up, there is no bug here, everything works as intended.

However, there seems to be a design task:
There needs to be a way to filter out certain types of keyframes from the timeline, in this case it's the marker weight keyframes from the MCE.
What to do about it? I guess this is for UI team, @brecht, @WilliamReynish?

I've committed a filtering support for movie clip animation in dopesheet (516afd0162).

Sounds unrelated, but timeline is a dopesheet (go figure :). Possible workaround is to switch timeline to a dopesheet, enable filtering, filter out movie clips and switch back to timeline. While this works, the interaction is far from ideal here. Probably, we can display filtering for timeline, but then it's really becoming more of a real dopesheet, so why to have it separate even?

This isn't something i can solve, something more up to William.
