Short description of error
Objects set to show in front, when drawn in edit mesh mode, will display artefacts resemlbing z-fighting.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • open the blend
  • notice the artefacts on the plane object to the right

Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Germano Cavalcante (mano-wii) triaged this task as Normal priority.

The problem is more visible when orbiting the view.

Not sure what is happening. Might be that the workbench ghost resolve pass effects the actual depth slightly (conversion). @Clément Foucault (fclem) do you have any ideas what might be happening here?

Have this issue too, I note that it disappears when activating the option to display modifier in edit mode (like Mirror modifier)
