Short description of error
the uv editor does not properly display n-gons.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

1- Open the blend file
2- Switch to edit mode
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) lowered the priority of this task from 90 to 50.

Can confirm the fill method seems to be different from 2.79 [though 2.79 has problems with certain concarve ngons as well...]

Yes fill method differ. We use the same as 2.79 but maybe with different indexing.

Can be fixed but would not consider it high priority or regression.

I reproduced this bug in blender 2.80rc1, but not the latest daily build, so it appears the bug has been fixed already.
