Generally can't be a Blender bug if the GPU driver is dying.

Oh, look...

What if for the moment you right-click blender.exe and use the Run with Graphics Processor or Render OpenGL on menu to run Blender on the integrated Intel graphics rather than the discrete Nvidia GPU? Won't be as fast of course, but there's a chance you could still get the 1060 to work for Cycles CUDA rendering.

You might look into uninstalling the 1903 update as a possible temporary measure as well of course.

Thank's for your feedback

I already saw this issue report from Microsoft for Surface book 2's dGPU.
I encounter this issue only with Blender :( and no problem with Photoshop or Painter

Temporaly I will force the integrated Intel graphic to run Blender.

Looks like we cannot do much here... Thanks for the report anyway.

I'm having the same problem, on a BookII as well. Also seems that Blender crashes and disconnects the Nvidia GPU once (even without rendering), but after getting the GPU started again (the simple way of doing that is to disconnect and reconnect the 2-1 screen from the keyboard) it's much more reliant. So strange..

One way to resolve this issue is to rollback to Windows 10 version 1809. Since that my Surface Book 2 never crash again when I using the stable blender 2.8 version.
I'm worried because Microsoft didn't find the solution to resolve this issue.
