Short description of error
When you duplicate an object (Shift + D) it usually copies the same attributes as vcol and uv.
This keeps the Attribute node of the Material working since it is still the same material.
But if you duplicate the material, the result becomes different.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open the attached file;
  2. See how the material that uses the vcol attribute in the Suzanne on the left is different than it should be (Suzanne on the right).
