Event Timeline

I have been having crashes in Eevee on a similar system since the early days of Blender 2.80. Same exact driver (10.18.10.3345). Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, using Windows 8.1.

Finally decided to update the driver. It's an OEM driver and there are no updates from the manufacturer anymore, but I used Intel's most recent generic driver:

renderer: 'Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600'
vendor: 'Intel'
version: '4.3.0 - Build 10.18.14.5067'

Blender:

version: 2.80 (sub 74), branch: master, commit date: 2019-07-11 13:50, hash: 06312c6d2db8, type:
build date: Thu 07/11/2019, 09:59 AM
platform: Windows

The problem did not go away, but Blender seems a little more stable. The issue is pretty much restricted to using Eevee, especially in the viewport render. It is usually enough to start the default scene, hit Z and choose render. Clicking on Viewport shading does the same.

Updating the driver seems to have at the very least kept the crashing from happening every time, will see if anything happens in the future. Thank you for the help!
