Worked: (optional)

Go to the material menu and click on select color. There's a eyedropper button for selecting a color, but it doesn't work.

  • Open the shading popover, switch to "Single" mode, click on the color "slot", then click on the eyedropper button... Nothing happens. (the eyedropper doesn't show up)
  • -Try to change the outline color with the color picker (it doesn't work with object color or background color either.)

Choosing colors via the eyedropper from Properties->Material works. Are you trying to change the color from the dropdown in the header rather than the Properties panel?
From the manual:
Grease Pencil Materials can be created in the Material properties as any other materials in Blender.

Can you try with a newer release, like the RC2 version?

Yes, sorry, I am talking about the dropdown menu from the header. When using the material tab on the properties panel I don't have this problem.

I am using the rc2 version right now and I've tried the latest build before posting the bug.

Thanks. Changing color from the drop-down doesn't work.
I'm not sure if that is intended behavior. It seems a bit redundant since you can pick colors from the Material panel.
If so, you shouldn't be able to pop up a color picker.

We'll have to get a ruling from the judges.
