Short description of error

In Edit Mode you will find a toggle to enable Selection mask for sculpting. But you cannot sculpt in edit mode.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Please describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Open Blender, create a grease pencil object. Enter Edit Mode. In the header you will find the Selection Mask mode. But it doesn't work in Edit Mode from what i can see. This is a mode for sculpt mode. As the tooltip suggests. Only sculpt selected stroke points ...

What i also wonder about is the Interpolate dropdown menu. I cannot find it in the documentations. And the visual arrangement suggests that this has something to do with the Selection mask. But in Sculpt Mode it is missing.

Event Timeline

Operators are working on selection in edit mode. So, it does not make sense to have a mask in this mode.

Interpolate menu permits to interpolate GP frames in-between 2 drawn frames.
It probably was used as an option to limit creation of interpolations to selected strokes. But now, this is handled by options in Popover.

So, I suppose it is an oblivion.

Antonio Vazquez (antoniov) lowered the priority of this task from Needs Triage by Developer to Normal.
