Short description of error
Blender 2.81 crashed working on "Edit mode" and with "Solid", "LookDev" and "Rendered" shading modes, when executing several simple actions that does not occur with Blender 2.80, as they are exposed below:

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • With the Edit mode, with any action for selecting vertices or edges (but NOT on "face select mode"!!!) where the mouse cursor action is involved.
  • With the Edit mode, by clicking (mouse selection button) on any point or zone of the 3D View, even on an area where there are no mesh elements, or other objects, and both with the option "Lock Object Mode" enabled as disabled
  • With Edit mode. when executing the "Loop Cut & Slide" tool, either by means of a shortcut (Ctrl + R) or simply by running it as "active tool" (click on the toolbar).

All this happens with the "Solid", "LookDev" and "Rendered" shading modes.
But none of this happens if "Wireframe" is the active shading mode.
