Short description of error
IvyGen dont work.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
It just dont do nothing and shows a error message.

i cannot confirm this error on linux Blender 2.80-Stable AMD FX8350, 16GB DDR3, GTX690 2+2 GB VRam- Nvidia drivers 430.40

Have you same problem with Blender 2.80 Stable release? You can download Blender 2.80 Stable from here

Please, update this report following strictly this page

The operating system, main memory size, GPU brand and model, GPU driver version and Blender hash or its build date may be needed by developers to investigate this issue

Check if the hardware and operating system are working properly outside of Blender and if they have the latest update installed

Next time you can use Help > Report a Bug item and striclty follow this form. Attach a simplest possible .blend file, before you made a bugreport you must search if bug/issue is already reported from others users

You can update to the latest GPU drivers from the Nvidia support site to confirm that problem is not drivers related, Brand newest drivers can be outdated or not yet avaibles
