that report is totally unclear to me, what is the issue here?

Sorry. Folders and files are placed on my desktop for no apparent reason at startup. The empty folder is titled "blender_ZRpxIz; while the most common file is a .blend titled "Quit" upon quitting. If I move to trash the folder while Blender is open, blender produces another one.

What is in User Preferences > File Paths > Data > Temporary Files?
