System Information
Operating system: Win-7/64-PRO
Graphics card: NV-1060/6Gb

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.8 downloaded and installed 8-21-2019

(example: 2.79b release)
(example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, blender2.8, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
3D Connexion does not use standard 3D Connexion Mode Control Drivers

NO VERSION INFO provided in splash screen, screenshot available

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Exact steps:

  1. Load and run Blender, with 3D Connexion Space NAvigator 2-bttn "Puck" style 3D-Controller properly installed and running in ALL other applications.
  2. See that it doesn't work correctly.
  3. See that others are consistenlty having the same proble.
  4. realize developers still addicted to the notion that their "uniqueness" matters.
  5. Submit bug report hoping SOMEONE has a clue.
  6. Wait for notification that this bug report has been received, sorry for any inconvenience.
  7. Uninstall Blender as STILL not useable in its current configuration
  8. Return to 4 other main-stream fully-licensed 3D-Modeling and Animation systems in use for more than a decade.
  9. Realize the vast unlikelihood that there are any developers on staff over the age of 30, and likely few older than 25 .
  10. Sigh and move on.
