Phantom Wall
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

The zoom! Using the mouse wheel I was able to zoom properly from a far out distance to a distance of several cm. After manipulating the view screen by clicking and dragging on the x, y, z, axis in the blue circular compass there has now established a very strange wall that makes any object disappear. At a distance of about three feet out the set objects are visible, then when wheeling in to get a closer look the objects are cut in half, then with another turn of the wheel forward they disappear entirely. I can wheel back out to see them again but this 'phantom wall' seems to prevent me from getting a closer look.

HELP!

You should always attach your .blend file. Did you try changing "Clip start" and "End" values?

Abid Maqbool (cto.abid) lowered the priority of this task from Needs Triage by Developer to Needs Information from User.Aug 29 2019, 2:08 PM

Without complete info we could do nothing, please attach a simplest possible .blend file (which will produce bug/error) as @Marcin Twarowski (Tvaroog) asked...
Maybe your objects are too large/small then Viewport Clipping Region, you can always press Shift + C which center view, 3d Cursor and many Viewport related problem (zooming)
