System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro x64 version 1903 OS build 18362.295, x64-Based Processor
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x Eight-Core Processor 3.70
Graphics card: Asus GeForce 1050 TI 4GB

Blender Version
Broken: 2.8

Short description of error
As i was seamed my edges and try to unwrap my object, the UV editor does not accept my transformation input (Location, Rotation, Scale).
After a few minutes i try the tool list from the drop down menus just to see if anything worked. The tools still worked except the transformation tools.
When i used the grab tool, blender crashes.
Before hand i had other objects in the scene but i deleted them because i didn't needed them anymore. After that the UV editor stopped working properly.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Not sure it is reproducible but heir it goes.

  1. Create a bunch of random Mesh objects.
  2. Create bezier curves shapes.
  3. Delete the previously created random Mesh objects that you created.
  4. Convert them to Mesh objects.
  5. Add Seams to unwrap them.
  6. Unwrap the UV's by going to the UV->Unwrap in the 3d editor.
  7. Try to move the UV to no avail.

Additional Info

The save folder of the project.

i not find any problem to unwrap mesh object follow this step

  • open .blend file from report
  • select mesh object and enter in edit mode
  • select edges i want mark aas seam
  • use Edges > Mark Seam item
  • select all edges and use UV > Unwrap item
  • switch on Shading Editor and add textured material at unwrapped object
  • switch on UV Editing workspace

i see UV in perfect order, ready to texturing

in .blendf file on report, object not have mark seam, not had associated material.
i suppose user forgot to made his step 5

Could you move the UV Islands in the editor? because i couldn't. Had to re-create the project to move them.
Unwrap them and skin them is not the problem. It's moving the UV islands in the UV editor.

I also can move the UV islands with no issue here from quick test, using latest master…

Will archive for now, am sorrybut we cannot do much if we cannot reproduce the issue.
