System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro
Graphics card: 2 x nVidia 1080GTX

Blender Version
Broken: (2.8, 2.81)
Worked: (2.79)

Short description of error
When switching to camera view, everything disappears. Once this happens, there's no way to get rid of this with new cameras (no, it's not the clipping distance). The only thing that seems to solve it is, getting rid of the 3d viewport and loading in a new one. Here's a link to a video showing the problem.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
There are no steps to reproduce the error. It appears to be a random issue. Here's a blend file that has that problem.
