Short description of error

  • the viewport shows different and renders it out a different way.
  • Actually, as the particle wants to come form the cube and form a sphere by each part.
  • it works correctly by after some time this had changed and start to work wrongly.
    Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
    add a cube and a sphere. give subsurf modifier to cube to match the number of faces in the sphere.

    cube explore modifier:
    select the cut edge, unborn, alive
    sphere explore modifier:

@arun_noname Thanks for the report. Could you test this in 2.79 as well, please? Since the particle system is marked 'end of life' older issues won't be fixed. However, we shouldn't introduce new problems either, so newly created bugs should be fixed.

Are all steps you describe really necessary to reproduce this issue? For example, is it reproducible without the Explore Modifier? Is the emission material really necessary? Please take another look at the steps to reproduce, and remove any that are not strictly necessary. This will help us a lot to figure out what is causing the issue.

Since particles is end of line I'm not going over the trouble of adding all the information to the original task. But still, filing away as Known Issue.
