Simplify, Draw Sharp, Pose and Elastic Deform not assignable as keyboard shortcut in MacOS
Open, Needs Triage by DeveloperPublic

Description

System Information
Operating system: MacOS (10.13.6 and 10.14.6)
Graphics card: AMD

Blender Version
Broken: Since introduction of those brushes (Simplify from release 2.80, rest all dailies)
Works in Linux, doesn't in MacOS

Short description of error
When assigning mentioned sculpt brushes to a keyboard shortcut the brushes won't activate. It doesn't matter what key, even if I replace a working shortcut key like C (clay brush) from paint.brush_select CLAY to DRAW_SHARP that key will not activate the brush.

Notice:
It is NOT an issue that the keys don't work due to the OS having those keys assigned or conflict with other software.. it's an issue that those particular brushes don't activate. other brushes can be assigned and work as expected.
The brushes CAN be activated via the icon in the T-panel, so it's not that they are missing.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Assign PINCH to Alt-C or any other key and use the key during sculpting
Works as expected
Assign ELASTIC DEFORM or DRAW_SHARP etc to that same key and use it during sculpting.
Brush mode is NOT selected.

Again, I'm perfectly capable of getting this to work on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 and 19.04) but not on MacOS. I don't know if it works on Windows.

Thanks for looking into it
