Short description of error
Saved the attached file successfully in 2.8. Now attempting to open file causes crash. The blender file originally started out on 2.79. Then I moved to blender 2.8. Saved successfully to blender 2.8, then after doing an updated save, blender started crashing when re-opening this latest file, sea_shack46 (last successful save was sea_shack45).

There is a severe corruption of at least one mesh in the 46 file, if you append the mesh (not the object) Plane.001 from it into a default startup blender, and then run in the python console D.meshes['Plane.001'].validate(verbose=True), you'll get a lot of errors in the system console…

So unless you can give us a reproducible way to get a corruption starting from sea_shack45.blend valid file, am afraid we cannot do much here.

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately unless there are clear instructions on how to reproduce it from scratch we cannot debug this any further.

Things that may cause mesh corruption: Importers, development versions of Blender, modeling tools.
