Short description of error
Saved the attached file successfully in 2.8. Now attempting to open file causes crash. The blender file originally started out on 2.79. Then I moved to blender 2.8. Saved successfully to blender 2.8, then after doing an updated save, blender started crashing when re-opening this latest file,
sea_shack46
(last successful save wassea_shack45
).sea_shack_45.blend.zip
sea_shack_46.blend.zip

There is a severe corruption of at least one mesh in the 46 file, if you append the mesh (not the object)
Plane.001
from it into a default startup blender, and then run in the python consoleD.meshes['Plane.001'].validate(verbose=True)
, you'll get a lot of errors in the system console…So unless you can give us a reproducible way to get a corruption starting from
sea_shack45.blend
valid file, am afraid we cannot do much here.Added subscriber: @lichtwerk

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately unless there are clear instructions on how to reproduce it from scratch we cannot debug this any further.
Things that may cause mesh corruption: Importers, development versions of Blender, modeling tools.
