Short description of error
Dithering will be only applied by Render Image but we'll need this Post Processing effect also in the final compositing result. Otherwise it's impossible to judge the result.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Create a Ramp Texture for the Compositor
  • Set Post Processing Dither to 1.0
  • Viewer Result: No Dithering (Color Banding)
  • Render Image: Dithering
